First season of the show was great, the pig fucking episode was brutal and the one about the people on the stationary bikes and the advertisement rooms was one of the best episodes of TV ever. Second season was still good too but it got weaker after that. I watched the first episode of the 4th season where they were in the guys Star trek fantasy and it fucking sucked so I stopped watching the show.

this episode is actually extremely woke if you read it as about gamer autogynephilia and polyamorous relationships. of course no one who watches it will think this stuff is bad and will probably masturbate to it. second episode of the season is a return to form for black mirror imo, not super deep but better than anything from s3 or 4. third episode is the worst black mirror episode of all of them by far, and not because of retarded wokeness or stupid messages or anything like that, its just horribly done and painfully unfunny. also it was directed by a woman

i would recommend the second ep to anyone who likes the first 2 season of the show, its not at that level but is good entertainment. watch first ep if you want to gaze into satans eyes and dont bother with the third one at all, not even funny bad its just legitimate cringe the entire fuckin time

Honestly just watch both seasons of Utopia instead if you want good dystopian near-future drama

Me and my friend used to play Street Fighter II and Mortal Kombat all the time. We first started when we were like 16, smoking weed in his parents house, up until we were like 32 years old, him still smoking weed in his parents house.

I eventually stopped smoking weed entirely, I would still go over and have a few (usually no more than 3 beers), he would continue to smoke weed. It almost seems like a dream or it didn't happen, but one time I went over there and he offered me a blowjob. I played it off like he was joking and excused myself not too long after that. We no longer stay in touch, if you are wondering about that.

Overall I think that yes the Black Mirror series pushes globohomo. But not all episodes are Jewed and a lot of them provide some pretty woke messages to walk away with and they point out serious problems in our society with the way things are actually going.

I've almost watched every episode by now and I started with the gay street fighter episode.

I would not say that one is pushing globohomo. A couple buds sittin around smokin buds can definitely lead to some gay shit.

It's not about pushing anything, I just don't think the quality of writing is as good as what it used to be. I totally loved the first few seasons. The part in the bike episode where the guy saves up all his credits to help that girl make it big only to find her later in a mandatory viewing porno ad was gut wrenching. And a lot of the ideas they presented in the show were genuinely thought provoking. I guess I can't judge because I haven't watched all of season 4 or 5 but the beginning of season 4 just turned me off. It just didn't seem as good. like the Star trek power fantasy episode where the guy trapped his co-workers was just kinda lame and cheesy with no substance. Season 3 started dipping into that territory a little bit but it was still fun to watch. The gamer episode didn't really have any hard hitting messages but it was still cool to see how the guy slowly goes insane inside his own brain, and I thought the twist with the moms phone call was well played.

Idk man, maybe I'll give it a shot but I gotta finish the Sopranos first.

Also highly recommending Utopia. Some of the best cinematography and music of any TV show I've seen. Way more interesting than Black Mirror ever was

In many ways black mirror peaked with White Christmas, because literally all of the episodes after it are basically just, what if you uploaded your brain... And it got mindfucked!!!! All subsequent episodes are pretty brain dead, some were entertaining like Playtest but none said anything that can't be said in like a sentence. I feel like there was a lot to think about with 15 Million Merits and the Entire History of You but past season 2 there isn't much, only a couple decent s3 episodes.

It kind of got mainstream and all these actors came out of the closet looking for some sort of opportunity, like for example Miley Cyrus stars in a Black Mirror episode. The Star Trek episode, yeah you can see it is more of a case of someone famous (B tier celebrities) having their casting agency trying to find them work.

Maybe Black Mirror's best days are behind it, my favorite was the troll face episode.

I don't like the Sopranos. I had nightmares after watching a few episodes and God told me to stop watching them. Any sort of violence like that does not deserve glorification, it needs to be smashed and purged by mainstream society. Mafia style violence from the Italians and Jews has turned modern politics into what it is - men and women with good sense know its not worthwhile to enter that den of pariahs, even if they are leading us into biblical endtimes.

I have a friend who's constantly telling me to read terry Pratchett and the discworld series. Where should I start?

Also I just realized the guy in your profile pic is from the chats, I just put Smoko on the music playlists recommendations list.

Can't go wrong with any of them really, I'd say start from the beginning and work your way through since later books make reference to events in previous ones, though not to the point where you'll be lost if haven't read them. On the pirate bay there's a collection of all of the Discworld audiobooks that's still being seeded if you're into that. The bitrate on them is somewhat low but they're still pretty listenable, though the first 5-10 are a little rough and The Amazing Maurice was too garbled for me to finish.

The first one I read was Reaper Man, which is still one of my favorites, along with any of the other ones that involve the character of Death for more than a few pages.

I do feel that the later books suffer from a few of the recurring characters becoming characitures of themselves, but not to the point where it detracts from the overall experience. All in all they're pretty great reads and well worth your time if you enjoy Neil Gaimans or Douglas Adams works.

Out of all the poz, I hate this cliche in TV and movies the most. Oh, all the adults in your life are drugged up boomer retards with no wisdom but "we're all just monkeys?" We'll make sure to remind how far we sold you down the river at every chance we get. Free Love
