Don't like beans.
There is also the factor where you probably don't know what you are talking about, as actually properly soaking your beans for 6 hours and boiling them is quite a different experience from eating trash beans out of a can. These home-prepared beans are not mushy and disgusting like canned beans, they have a very palatable texture. But overall they are pretty much the definition of a food that doesn't have much taste, and therefore there is a general lack of things not to like about it. so I'm not really understanding you there.
probably should try them like that then. Only have experience with shit from a can, and elementary school cafeteria food. I'm not someone who has time to cook. Usually I just precook pork chops and eat those, or eat microwave crap. Not really someone with the time to cook full meals.
With a crock pot you can cook while at work. The fastest most will cook at is 4 hours. Do the prep the night before. Soak your beans and chop your vegetables. The next day before you leave for work set it to cook for 8 hours. Your dinner will be ready when you get through the door. Practice a couple times on your days off first so you don't fuck it up. But really it's easy as hell. Also rice takes 15 minutes to cook. Salmon takes 15 minutes to cook in an oven set to 420. I often time those to be ready at the same time. From start to finish it takes thirty minutes out of my day to have fish and rice with some vegetables ready.
