You should listen to Moon Hooch. As you listen, close your eyes and pay attention to how you feel.
When I hear these two saxophonists and one drummer play anything at all, I am compelled with utmost force to dance. Or at least, something resembling dancing. I feel like these guys unlock a primal urge in their listeners. It's as if the Moon itself howled screeches and drumbeats at early cavemen, early in our evolutionary history, which would possess nearby animals to attack the proto-humans, thinking they were the origin of the infernal racket. In order to scare the animals away, the humans had to move around wildly. Those that didn't, or did so insufficiently, failed to scare away the animals and got eaten.
Who knows why the Moon stopped screaming?
